Been coming here for years with my wife. Enjoy the Pho Bo, and service. Portions are on par with other Pho restaurants but we prefer the pho here. Other reviewers complain higher tier members get to cut the line.... no surprise considering every casino I've been to has this perk built into their upper tier card holders. The staff isn't slow for the sake of slowness, they're just busy with all the customers coming here. There's a reason the line is long at this restaurant.

Was able to satisfy my craving for stir fry and I was able to get it to-go. Inside seating has beautiful decor but no sound barrier from casino floor. However, there is outdoor seating with lovely views. When I asked if I could have a side of the pickled cucumber (my fav), they happily agreed and gave me plenty!

(Edited to reflect that the chef is ADAM, sorry!): The Ginger Noodle Bar is the Best restaurant at Viejas, hands down! Manager BK and crew (particularly waitress Christina and sous chef Kevin (who really “runs the place and keeps everything going smoothly”), and cook Andy and chef Adam) are AWESOME. This restaurant has absolutely the best service and best food in the casino. They are extremely attentive to the needs of customers (even though they are unfortunately short staffed, they make up for it in attitude and working hard to make sure customers are pleased!). The restaurant is always friendly and 100% worth the wait. I am always thrilled to eat there because I know I will have delicious food and amazing service. They really make me feel special when I visit (They make every customer feel like that customer is their number one priority). They have the most legit Kalbi short ribs (especially compared to the "Asian short ribs" at Jamul or the "Korean short ribs" at Barona, neither of which vaguely resemble Kalbi short ribs). Also great Egg drop soup, boba tea, and yummmmmy drunken noodles). They remember my order and know that I love their extra yummy crispy fried wontons (to go on their also delicious egg drop soup, but also just to eat alone because they're just that good) and they're always happy to give me some to snack on while waiting for my order to be put together, and throw in some extra when handing me the bag! So for any and all visiting Viejas, remember that, the GINGER NOODLE BAR IS THE BEST, and save yourself the time/suffering at the other places. - Go to the Ginger Noodle Bar!! Don't go to the cafe. Service at the cafe is AWFUL. You may or may not get your food in 2 hours (literally) and it may or may not be right, not to mention just generally bad (4/5 of my orders there have been completely wrong). So go to the Ginger Noodle Bar because you will get your delicious food fast, hot, and RIGHT!!!! - Gontonthr Ginger Noodle Bar! Service at the steakhouse is also awful. The food is definitely not worth the money and the waitresses disappear for 20 minute intervals (there's only like 10 tables, where are they going?!). However at the Ginger Noodle Bar they will basically wait on you hand and foot (someone is always available to make sure you are happy, and if for some reason you have an issue they will make sure that you're happy in a hurry!!) 5 star restaurant :). Be patient in the line and be rewarded when the food hits your mouth.

I first saw Ginger Noodle hatch under Chef David Wong who created the menu & got the restaurant started. But after he left, quality & flavor declined. But now, under Chef Jose Troncoso, there is a flavor reawakening, a creative renaissance, and a quality leap from B-grade Chinese food to innovative & flavorful Asian and Fusion Cuisine. The General Tsao Chicken, pictured below, started as a budget orange chicken with chiles thrown on; now, the General charges full force with garlic, chile oil, and a scallion bite! My sister fell in love with the fried rice on the first taste (so much so that I believe my niece, who was only 3 weeks along when my sis found the dish, must be 65% Ginger Noodle Fried Rice). I intend to return after Chef Jose finishes the dessert menu; spoiler, I’ve heard of a Matcha Swiss Roll or Cheesecake, but only time will tell. I can’t wait.

Great foods and you can ask vegetarian foods if you are a vegetarian. Thai Drunken Noodle is my favourite dish. Great manager, Priscilla, great chef, Matthew, Excellent services. Most of the time is busy except Wednesday, but good foods worth the wait. ...
